Walter E. Washington Convention Center

Official SLAS2019 functions — including the exhibition and scientific sessions — will take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Keynote addresses will take place in the ballroom of the adjoining Marriott Marquis Washington DC. The Walter E. Washington Convention Center is located at the heart of downtown DC, walking distance from countless museums, restaurants and shops, and approximately eight blocks from the National Mall, The White House, a wealth of neo-classical and Jeffersonian architecture and numerous memorials and monuments. Convention Center Parking

There are more than 3,000 parking spaces within three blocks of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Likewise, a yellow/green line Metro subway station is located just outside the convention center.
