The Latest in Scientific Discovery, Technology and Innovation: Podium Presentations Offer SLAS2019 Participants Quality Educational Opportunities

SLAS2019 offers participants a world-class scientific program that showcases the top laboratory science and technology podium presentations from industry leaders around the globe. Each podium presentation is hand selected by the SLAS2019 Scientific Program Committee from hundreds of abstract submissions, which are vigorously reviewed. Presentations offer SLAS2019 participants compelling content and fresh perspectives on emerging laboratory technologies from a broad range of industries, including drug discovery and development, informatics, clinical diagnostics, food and agricultural sciences, forensics and security sciences, petrochemicals and energy, and consumer products.

SLAS2019 Educational Tracks

The SLAS2019 scientific program features ten educational tracks, listed below:

Complete presentation details and the latest schedule of events will be available in the SLAS2019 Event Scheduler, which will launch in late 2018.

The Scientific Program Committee selects speakers based on the innovation, relevance and applicability of research. If your proposed topic does not squarely fit into the focus of one of these tracks, please submit it for the committee’s consideration and, if selected, the committee will place it in the most relevant track. The committee members use their judgment and experience to select presentations that best address the interests and priorities of today’s life sciences discovery and technology community.

Podium Presentations

SLAS2018 presents 144 unique podium presentations that span seven educational tracks and 36 sessions. Podium presentations are presented on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in both morning and afternoon sessions. Podium presentations are organized into ten educational tracks. The committee members use their judgment and experience to select presentations that best address the interests and priorities of today’s life sciences discovery and technology community.

Podium abstracts will be reviewed in late summer and the podium program will be finalized and published by early October.

Poster Presentations

SLAS2019 will feature more than 300 unique poster presentations. Posters are displayed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning with actual presentations taking place each day in one-hour sessions. The Scientific Program Committee will begin poster reviews in October and confirm posters on a rolling/monthly basis between October and January. As posters are confirmed, abstracts and presentation dates will be posted within the SLAS2019 Event Scheduler.

Keynote Speakers

Short Course Program

The SLAS2019 Short Course Program provides in-depth instruction on topics, issues and techniques related to the laboratory science and technology. Courses are held one or two days prior to the start of the Conference and Exhibition and an extra fee applies. Planning is underway and Short Courses will be announced in mid-2018.
